Up Up and Away

I want an awesome skylight in my kitchen, or any room in my house for that matter. I love all the natural light that comes in from a skylight. It brightens and brings life to this space. I also really like the light blue glass tile on the backsplash and the open shelves.

A House to Love

A Spa Everyday

I think this bathroom feels serene and peaceful. Kind of like being at a high end luxury spa. The combination of the blueish gray and white colors provides a pleasing contrast that is simple but sharp. Blues create the illusion of space and are very tranquil.

Symmetrical balance (creating a mirror image) is also relaxing and formal.

Movie Time

I think this room is cool, but I don't love the idea of sitting all by myself to watch the movie. I'm a cuddler!
What a fun party night! And I think you could fit 2 people on each chair.

ONE YEAR!!!

I've been meaning to check and see just when I started this blog and when I finally did that today I was shocked to see that my 1 year mark is today!!! I have posted every single day- minus the weekends. For a whole year now, that's 273 posts, close to 1,000 pictures, countless hours putting posts together, over 4,000 hits (I didn't start the hint counter for a few months), lots of new blog friends, hundreds of memories and lots of happiness and satisfaction! Hopefully there will be many more posts to come! Happy blogging everyone!

Weekend Success

So I took off to the mountains (well I live in the mountains, I just went a little higher up) and enjoyed an awesome weekend with a bunch of friends. We laughed and played and hot tubbed and lounged around and visited and oh there was lots of food (I better get to work on working that food off, I have a cruise in 5 weeks!!)Everyone is just chilling and having a good time. Me and my fun friend Paula, we probably paused in our gossiping to smile for the camera!

Saturday we hit the hills and went snowmobiling. There were a few times I thought I was going to die but I hung on and had a blast!! These Helmets were huge!Posing with the girls, and our beautiful helmet hair. This isn't me, but this guy Logan rocked on his sled!

We shared lots of laughs and even the same bed (we crashed both nights from staying up so late)Me with my super great guy friend Myrick. He is one of my favorite people to hang out with.Watching the guys clean up- Priceless!

So overall this weekend was a crazy success. A good time to get away and make new friends and strengthen old friendships, enjoy the beautiful mountain winter air and just relax.
