Las Ramblas

Right after college graduation I went to Europe for a few weeks. The agenda was to go to Spain, France and Italy. I didn't think much about Spain except that I wished we had more time in France. Haha, little did I know that my 2 days in Spain would leave me wishing for more time there! We went to Barcelona and the weather was fabulous and the culture was dynamic and exciting. The city and the people have such this liveliness and passion for life. From their food and music to their architecture and art. One of my favorite places was the Las Ramblas. It is this street or mall so to speak that is lined with vendors, artists, restaurants and lots and lots of people. There is always music and performers and yummy smells. My favorite part was the feeling that everyone was there to have a good time and enjoy life. The whole time in Barcelona I felt like it was a very chill and casual atmosphere and people were alive and enjoying life, I loved that.

Fun performing artists and yummy food can always get me excited.

  1. Isn't it an amazing and energizing place? We stayed just a block or two from Las Ramblas when we visited Barcelona. It is a place that just draws you in.

  3. I actually enjoyed Spain the most. Probably because we weren't totally exhausted yet! Plus, I think you had a pretty awesome roommate in Spain!
