Have you ever heard of natural pools? Well let me tell you about them! 
Basically you build a mini pond in your backyard. The idea is that your pool is self maintaining by the natural process instead of chemicals. Some natural pools even have an area (not where you swim) with fish and other waterlife. I think this is a great idea to be more "green" and help the environment.
Don't you feel like you are at an exclusive mountain retreat not just your own backyard?! I love the waterlilies and the water grass.

I love these pools. Feels so natural -- and I hate chlorine.
